Universal Health Coverage Day 2022 is on Monday, 12th December 2022. We yearly celebrate this day on 12th Dec since 2017. On this day The United Nations started an international holiday aimed at promoting quality and affordable healthcare for all citizens worldwide.

History of the Day

On 12th Dec 2012, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a Foreign Policy and Global Health resolution urging all countries to aim for the day with the idea that everyone, everywhere, should have access to affordable medicine and treatment to leave no one’s health behind. People celebrate this day since 2017 with an international holiday by the UN.
