Universal Health Coverage Day 2024 is on Monday, 12th December 2024. We yearly celebrate this day on 12th Dec since 2017. On this day The United Nations started an international holiday aimed at promoting quality and affordable healthcare for all citizens worldwide.

This theme encourages us to take part in making an ideal world which demands worldwide robust health systems without financial hardships for all. This theme aims to raise awareness among people to struggle and call for improvement in the healthcare systems.
History of the Day
On 12th Dec 2012, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed a Foreign Policy and Global Health resolution urging all countries to aim for the day with the idea that everyone, everywhere, should have access to affordable medicine and treatment to leave no one’s health behind. People celebrate this day since 2017 with an international holiday by the UN.
