
The Federal Government of Pakistan has announced the Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 holidays. In this regard, on Sunday, March 21, 2026, interior ministry of Pakistan issued a notification. According to this notification.
According to this notification all businesses, shops, public places, community parks will remain closed with the exception of essential items, such as medical stores, medical services will remain open.
The Pakistani government typically declares public holidays spanning three days to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. For 2025, the expected holiday schedule is:

All Government, private, public offices and banks, etc. will remain close all over the country during these holidays. The employees of Provincial Governments of Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, ‘Gilgit Baltistan will also enjoy the same days’ holidays.
The Central Ruet-I-Hilal Committee in the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman will meet on Saturday, 23 May in Karachi for the Eid Moon(Shawwal Moon) sighting.
According to the Meteorology Department During these days, the weather will remain partly cloudy and Eid-ul-Fitar is expected on 21 March 2026.
The Secretary of Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council has also explained that if the weather is clear on Sunday evening, 24 May, the moon will be visible in all cities of Pakistan. So Eid-ul-Fitar is expected on Monday, 21 March 2026
